HostMyByte (“HostMyByte”, “we”, “our”, “us”) provides cloud infrastructure and hosting-related services including, but not limited to, dedicated servers, VPS/cloud instances, GPU servers, object storage, backup solutions, and content delivery services (“Services”) to its customers (“Customer(s)”, “you”, “your”).

This Refund & Return Policy (“Policy”) defines the conditions under which refunds may be approved. By purchasing or using any HostMyByte service, you agree to be bound by this Policy. Hostmybyte reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time by publishing an updated version on its website.

HostMyByte believes in transparency and customer confidence. Our refund structure is designed to help customers make informed decisions while ensuring fair usage of our infrastructure and services.

Refunds are strictly governed by the terms outlined below and apply only to eligible products and services.

Standard Refund Terms

If you cancel a product or service that qualifies for a refund under these Standard Refund Terms, you may be eligible for a full refund subject to the following conditions:

  • 1 year or longer: Full refund if canceled within 30 days from the transaction date
  • Less than 1 year: Full refund if canceled within 48 hours from the transaction date
  • Transaction Date Definition

    The transaction date refers to:

    • The date of initial purchase, or
    • The date of any renewal processed by HostMyByte under the applicable service agreement

    Cancellation may occur at any time; however, refund eligibility is strictly limited to the timelines above.

Services Eligible for Refunds

Refunds may be considered only for the following services:

  • Shared Web Hosting
  • WordPress Hosting
  • CodeGuard Backup
  • VPN Services
Services Not Eligible for Refunds

The following products and services are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Cloud Servers
  • VPS Servers
  • Dedicated Servers
  • Domain Registrations & Renewals
  • Domain Transfer Fees
  • Domain Privacy / WHOIS Protection
  • Premium Domain Names
  • SSL Certificates
  • Website Security Services
  • SiteLock 911
  • Sucuri
  • Migration Services
  • Managed Services
  • Expert / Professional Services (billable hours)
  • Installation or Setup Fees for Custom Software
  • Microsoft Office 365 (all plans)
  • Google Workspace / G Suite (all versions)
  • Website Transfers
  • Redemption or Recovery Fees
Refund Calculation Method

Where applicable, refunds are calculated as follows:

  • Total amount paid
  • Minus any non-refundable fees, services, or consumed resources
  • Minus payment gateway or transaction charges

The final refundable amount (if any) will be processed to the original payment method.

Domain Registration & Renewal Policy
  • All domain registrations and renewals are final and irreversible.
  • Once a domain is registered or renewed, it cannot be canceled or refunded.
  • Customers are solely responsible for verifying domain names, spelling, extensions, and ownership details before confirming an order.
Services with Free Domain Inclusion

If a hosting plan includes a free domain and the hosting service is later canceled:

  • The standard retail price of the domain will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • The domain will remain active under the customer’s ownership.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee (Hosting Only)

HostMyByte offers a 30-day Money-Back Guarantee on select hosting services, subject to the following conditions:

  • Applies only to first-time accounts.
  • Applies only to the initial hosting term.
  • Must be requested within 30 days of initial purchase.
  • Request must be submitted in writing via the HostMyByte dashboard.
  • Refunds are processed within 7 business days after approval.

This guarantee does not apply to renewals, add-ons, domains, licenses, or third-party services.

Renewals & Auto-Billing
  • All services renew automatically to prevent service disruption.
  • A 15-day advance notification is provided before renewal.
  • To avoid renewal charges, cancellation must be completed before the renewal date via the dashboard.

Failure to cancel before renewal constitutes acceptance of the renewal charge.,/p>

Cancellation Process
  • Services can be canceled at any time using the online cancellation form in your HostMyByte dashboard.
  • You remain responsible for all charges incurred up to the effective cancellation date.
  • A confirmation email will be sent once the request is processed.

If you do not receive confirmation, you must contact HostMyByte Support immediately

Why Dashboard-Only Cancellations Are Required

Cancellations must be submitted via the dashboard to:

    • Verify customer identity
    • Obtain written confirmation for data and email removal
    • Maintain audit records and prevent fraudulent activity
Non-Refundable Situations (Additional)

Refunds will not be granted if:

  • Services are suspended or terminated due to policy violations
  • The account has unpaid invoices or linked account balances
  • Refund requests exceed the allowed timeframe
  • The service involves committed or reserved infrastructure
  • Tax documentation (TDS, GST, etc.) is incomplete or missing
